| Difficulties faced by students in the English language Did not mean never learn another language the mother tongue, but the exclusion of science research demonstrated the same growth that a child in many multilingual societies, especially those that are frequently the migrants, could learn more than one language and is spoken by all without adversely affecting the mother tongue, but that this enrich the culture and vocabulary and eloquence of language and it understands the feelings and literature of other nations. It was and still learning the English language tool, a method without recourse against the United exception to access to the latest scientific research has a role in developed countries, especially because the bulk of important research in the world written in English and the translation of useful human knowledge started in this language. It was also learned a way to economically and politically and socially in all areas with all the peoples of the globe. Facing the Arab students for English great difficulties. These challenges and start from the fact that both languages belong to different family since the Semitic language is Arabic, while English language is Indian - European. It follows that many differences in the Arabic letter that the fee is different from that script, and write Arabic from right to left, while the English written from left to right. We find that some sounds not found in Arabic such as audio or V p, and others. Facing Arab who wants to learn English struggling to master the word, where certain characters are pronounced differently, depending on the characters that followed, such as C, which pronounces (o) when followed by the following characters (e or i or y) and pronounced (k) before most of the English alphabet with the exception of (h ), where pronounced (TSH). We find that (g)pronounce (s) or pronounces DRAWN (c), as the characters that followed and its place in the floor. And the (P) if followed by the letter (h (A last word and such(enou gh). Was not to pronounce installation (gh) if it came in the middle of a word such as (night). We note that (ph) uttered (q) and ( th) had uttered (w) or (y). and more surprisingly, the Arab student who is returning to voice everything that is written to find that some English words were uttered not contain characters such as a character (k) in the word (know) and (p ) in the word(psychology). Here the teachers of English to give their students a historical overview of the evolution of the English language and how to write some of the characters remain as they are spoken at the codification of the gospel in Britain before more than 500 years have left people utter those characters but it is still write. The wording of the act and the name and character and circumstances different from those in English by the Arab student in his native tongue. Often measure the novice to learn the language specific rules for the language and builds his authentic and total and disbursed by the like, turning it more difficult to learn the target language. English does not distinguish between male and female in some of their conscience, such as (you), and (they) do not distinguish between these two pronouns of two or collection. In order to be English phrases such as described by contrast as the Arabic translation (great man) is (great man). Different as English differs significantly from some Arab, where the act in the Arabic language expressing three times of the past and the present tense and future, for example, (visited) and (visiting) and (will visit) and the time is divided in each. Arab student and finds that these three times in his native tongue corresponding twelve sections in English, where the act (write write) for example, be in four cases of the present tense, as follows: 1. The simple present tense (Present Simple) (Jawad writes poetry every day) reaction happens so often, every day. 2. Continuous present tense (Present Progressive) (Jawad is writing poetry now) act is happening now 3. Present Perfect (Present perfect) (Jawad has written poetry since he was a child) Reaction began to happen in the past and remained to the present 4. Continuous Present Perfect(Present Perfect Progressive) (Jawad has been writing since the morning) An act which appeared in the past and remained constant until shortly before the present and looked after the act of the perpetrator. Is divided into four sections: the past as well, as follows: 1. The simple past (Past Simple) (Jawad wrote poetry yesterday) was an act occurred in the past. 2. The past continuous (Past Progressive) (Jawad was writing poetry when you phoned) did was going to do when it happened last past. 3. Last full (Past Perfect) (Jawad had written poetry before he died.) Reaction began to happen in the past and what remains to do before the last in the past. 4. The last full and sustained (Past Perfect Progrissive) (Jawad had been writing poetry when I entered the library) An act which appeared in the past and still continues to do before the last little past. And the future also divided into four sections as follows: 1. The future simple (Simple Future) (Jawad will write poetry tomorrow) did happen in the future. 2. Continued future (Future Progressive) (Jawad will be writing poetry tomorrow morning) will be done continuously happening in a specific date of the future. 3. The future full (Future Perfect) (Jawad will have written the whole of the book by next July) Will be done by a certain date of the future 4. Full and sustained future (Future Perfect Progressive) (Jawad will have been writing poetry when you get up) An act which would be under way in the future and for a period of time when there is another act in the future.
Proposals to overcome the difficulties faced by Arab students for English: 1. Start teaching English to students at an early age (the age of 6 years) or earlier. And must be used here curricula contain interesting and entertaining activities. 2. Urged the students to speak English only while the share of the English language does not allow off-line. 3. To use the texts of poems, and short stories Angelizip simplified to enrich the vocabulary of Arab students to help them to communicate in English. 4. Use of the Internet, especially video and chat windows to develop the skills of listening and speaking English with native speakers. 5. Encourage students to express their feelings and ambitions and aspirations of the English language, making them able to clarify their positions and opinions and beliefs of each non-Arabic speakers. In conclusion, I say that teaching English to our children not and will not affect in learning the Arabic language and acquired, but it will help in the advancement of our nation and progress of scientific and cognitive and culturally. This was done by Europeans 600 years ago when he learned Arabic in order to move the products of the Arab Islamic civilization in Andalusia and other languages to Kaveh, paving the way for the renaissance of European glory, which we see in our time | |
